Whidbey Island anglers lands a nice coho from the island’s western shoreline

IMG_0924.JPG

Here is a great fishing tale that I’d like to share from John who lives on Whidbey Island, and his excitement over a nice coho he caught from shoreline on the west side of the island.

He caught this 17.5 pound silver salmon while fishing off Lagoon Pointt on Saturday, Oct. 1.

“Many of the regular anglers at Lagoon Point, said that it is perhaps the biggest silver salmon they’ve seen caught in a while or perhaps that they can remember,” John said.

Great going John, and hope you have many more fishing stories to tell in the future!

If you have a nice catch and would like to share it with me feel free to send an email.
