In case you missed it here is a Take 2 column I wrote, which features a different spin on sports by The Seattle Times staff and readers.
Over the course of the summer I had a chance to take out pro athletes for a day of fishing.
The list included Lauren Jackson of the WNBA Seattle Storm who fished for salmon in northern and central Puget Sound with fishing guide Keith Robbins, owner of A Spot Tail Salmon Guide.
Former Seattle Mariners great Jay Buhner spent a sunny day in central Puget Sound fly-fishing for salmon and sea-run cutthroat trout with fishing guide Keith Robbins, owner of A Spot Tail Salmon Guide.
And Seattle Sounders FC players Brad Evans, Pat Noonan and Nate Jaqua had a great day of fishing pink and coho salmon in central Puget Sound with fishing guide Steve Kesling, owner of Adventure Charters in Shilshole Bay.
Check out the link above that shows the other side of athletes, and the things they enjoy outside of the sports they play or have played most of their lives.
