Latest fall salmon transportation figures above the Cowlitz River

Here are the 2011 upstream transportation totals of fall chinook and coho for the Cowlitz River:

For the season: 16,330 fall chinook have returned; 2,148 hatchery and 4,147 wild have been transported to the Tilton River; 4,599 hatchery have been transported to Lake Scanewa; 1,658 hatchery and one wild have been transported to Cowlitz at Packwood; and 1,193 hatchery and six wild have been transported to Cispus River.

For the week of Nov. 5: 639 have fall chinook have returned; 37 hatchery and 120 wild have been transported to the Tilton River; 280 hatchery have been transported to Lake Scanewa; 74 hatchery and one wild have been transported to Cowlitz at Packwood; and none have been transported to Cispus River.

For the season: 34,000 coho have returned; 4,233 hatchery and 847 wild have been transported to the Tilton River; 4,899 hatchery and 3,843 wild have been transported to Lake Scanewa; 3,821 hatchery and 155 wild have been transported to Cowlitz at Packwood; and 751 hatchery and 82 wild have been transported to Cispus River.

For the week of Nov. 5: 5,182 have fall chinook have returned; 736 hatchery and 256 wild have been transported to the Tilton River; 1,045 hatchery and 866 wild have been transported to Lake Scanewa; 745 hatchery have been transported to Cowlitz at Packwood; and none have been transported to Cispus River.
