Here is the Reel Time Pacific Northwest fishing and outdoor trivia question of the week:
At this lake during the winter time you can literally walk on water so to speak as long as the deep freeze deems it safe enough.
I’ve seen two different sizes of this year-round lake — 500 and 600 acres — and yellow perch and rainbow trout are the main winter fishing attraction.
Ice fishing is popular here, but for the moment the ice isn’t safe enough to head out, and it usually thickens up by January.
Think Bavarian and the holiday Christmas spirit of a nearby town, and that should be a dead giveaway of this locale.
Where am I fishing?
The person to answer this question first will win a nice outdoor related book.
Please email your answer to email@example.com. The winner will be announced on Friday, Dec. 9. Be sure to include an email plus phone number so we can ensure you’ll get your prize.
This will be an ongoing weekly trivia contest where the winner will receive a prize that will range from books, fishing gear and other cool items from the outdoors gunnysack.
