Congratulation to Dan Cline of Bothell who is this week’s Reel Time Trivia winner, and answered first by saying it was the “Fish Lake.”

“I have been a Snohomish county resident for over 40 years, fishing the Puget Sound for salmon, cutthroat trout and bottom fishing,” Cline said. “I started fishing for bullheads off the beach in Brownsville back when I was practically a minnow. That got me hooked! I prefer salmon and trout fishing these days.”

Cline’s favorite trout lake is Lake Goodwin.

“You can find me and my boat up there many days of the week from spring to early fall (one of the perks of being retired!),” Cline said. “I fly-fish with my wife and have hunted mule deer west of Fish Lake for many years. I’ve spent many days looking at that beautiful lake each time I head to my favorite camping area, which is by Meadow Creek.”

Cline also enjoys collecting old fishing gear and have been a member of Northwest Knife Collectors (www.NWKC.org) for the last 10 years.

Cline wins a nice outdoor book.

This will be an ongoing weekly trivia contest where the winner who answers the question first will receive an outdoor prize that will range from books, Berkley bait, lures and other nifty items from the outdoors gunnysack.

The next trivia question will posted on Monday, Dec. 12. Winners are announced the following Friday.

Here are our rules for The Seattle Times contest.
