Klineline Pond gets a plant of hefty-sized trout

Klineline Pond located just north of Vancouver off I-5 was planted today (Tuesday, Feb. 21) with 1,000 half-pound-plus sized rainbow trout, so expect some pretty good fishing in the coming days.

The Southwest Washington lake covers 80-acres, and is a very kid and family friendly locale. There is a bulkhead along most of the south and west sides of the lake for easy casting.

There is also a county park which provides ample shoreline access with restrooms.
