2011 ocean salmon fisheries review available on-line, and forecast meeting is Tuesday

As the salmon forecast meeting looms on the horizon, here is a link to the Pacific Fishery Management Council’s review of the 2011 ocean salmon fisheries.

It is 353 pages long so be careful if plan to hit the “print” button, otherwise just scroll through to find what interests you the most. It is very in-depth and provides everything you need to know about what happened on the ocean last year.

State Fish and Wildlife will have a public meeting to discuss salmon forecasts 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28 at the Natural Resources Building, 1111 Washington Street S.E., in Olympia.
