Ocean lingcod and black rockfish fishery off to a great start despite bad weather

LingcodWestport.jpg

Here is a report from the ocean bottomfish fishery that started this past week from Westport Charters.

The season is underway, and what a start it was. The fish were hungry despite some less than warm weather!

Fishermen and women braved the elements and headed home with quite a catch. Most people captured the ten rockfish limit as well as the two ling cod limit!
