Winning halibut in Port Angeles Halibut Derby this past weekend is a 112 pounder

The Port Angeles Halibut Derby last weekend drew 668 participants and the winning fish weighed 112 pounds.

Jeff Reynolds of Port Angeles took home the $5,000 first place prize after landing the big halibut in the Port Angeles Salmon Club sponsored event. This is also the second time Reynolds has won the event.

Tom Bihler of Edmonds placed second with a 97 pound halibut that earned him $2,500; and third went to Mike Constant with a 93 pound halibut worth $1,500.
