Ocean salmon fishing by the numbers:

Ilwaco: 127 anglers June 9-10 caught 63 hatchery chinook for 0.50 fish per rod average; 569 anglers June 11-17 caught 700 hatchery chinook for. 1.23 fish per rod average.

Westport: 898 anglers June 9-10 caught 1,323 hatchery chinook for 1.47 fish per rod average; 2,664 anglers June 11-17 caught 2,587 hatchery chinook for 0.97 fish per rod average.

La Push: 20 anglers June 11-17 caught one hatchery chinook for 0.05 fish per rod average.

Neah Bay: 240 anglers June 11-17 caught 137 hatchery chinook for 0.57 fish per rod average.

Coastwide: 1,026 anglers June 9-10 caught 1,387 hatchery chinook for 1.35 fish per rod average, and 17.8 percent of the early-season chinook catch quota; and 3,493 anglers June 11-17 caught 3,425 hatchery chinook for 0.98 fish per rod average, and 60.1 percent of the early-season chinook catch quota.
