Here are a few places anglers might try to go in the coming days to catch some freshly planted trout:
Swift Reservoir – Planted with 1,275 rainbows averaging 6 pounds each and 2,605 averaging 1.5 pounds each July 16.
Takhlakh Lake – Planted with 376 rainbows averaging 3 pounds each July 18.
Goose Lake north of Carson – Due to a water intake construction project at Skamania Hatchery, Goose Lake will receive 2,000 catchable size cutthroats next week. These fish are normally planted into Goose Lake in the fall every year. This plant will resume as usual in the fall 2013.
