Here is the Reel Time Pacific Northwest fishing and outdoor trivia question of the week:
This lake is known for its good kokanee fishing, and when heading north or south on I-5 you can get peek-a-boo views of this beautiful gem. It covers more than 800-acres, and is also host to crappie, bass and big cutthroat trout.
The downside to this lake mainly in the summertime is the personal watercraft like jet and water skiers who ply it heavily on warm days. Early mornings are best during the summer for those who go fishing. There is a boat ramp on the east side of the lake, and Whatcom County Parks has a launch on the northwest side.
Where am I fishing?
The person to answer this question first will win a nice outdoor related book or some fishing tackle.
Please email your answer to firstname.lastname@example.org. The winner will be announced on Friday, Aug. 10. Be sure to include an email plus phone number so we can ensure you’ll get your prize.
This will be an ongoing weekly trivia contest where the winner will receive a prize that will range from books, fishing gear and other cool items from the outdoors gunnysack.
