Merwin Reservoir kokanee limit will be boosted beginning Wednesday

Merwin Reservoir in Southwest Washington will see an increase on the kokanee daily limit.

Anglers can soon retain up to 10 kokanee daily from Aug. 8 through Nov. 30.

State Fish and Wildlife says the hatchery is expected to attain spawning needs.

The daily limit will be five trout and 10 kokanee. Kokanee are not included in the trout daily limit. Anglers may fish with two poles with a Two-Pole Endorsement.
