Swift Reservoir daily catch limit will be adjusted

State Fish and Wildlife will allow anglers to keep up to 10 trout daily at Swift Reservoir, but must release salmon longer than 15 inches in length from Aug. 8 through Nov. 30.

This includes all fishing grounds from Swift Dam to Eagle Cliff Bridge.

Returning mature coho will be released into the upper watershed this fall for reintroduction purposes in the reservoir.

The reservoir is closed for bull trout. All salmon caught will be counted in the trout daily limit. There are selective gear fishing rules from the markers about 3/8 mile below Eagle Cliff Bridge to the bridge.
