It’s Reel Time trivia so put on your fishing thinking cap

Here is the Reel Time Pacific Northwest fishing and outdoor trivia question of the week:

This is one of the largest harbors along the coast, and a late fall salmon fishery offers a chance for anglers to hook into some big kings migrating into three large river systems.

This fishery opens in mid-September, and was closed for kings last season. These fish will stack up in the bay until weather and water conditions are right for them to move upstream.

Anglers target them along the channel markers in a shallow water fishery 15 to 30 feet deep. The window to catch these hogs is brief and will close after three weeks, but provides opportunity for coho well into November.

Where am I fishing?

The person to answer this question first will win a nice outdoor related book or some fishing tackle.

Please email your answer to myuasa@seattletimes.com. The winner will be announced on Friday, Aug. 31. Be sure to include an email plus phone number so we can ensure you’ll get your prize.

This will be an ongoing weekly trivia contest where the winner will receive a prize that will range from books, fishing gear and other cool items from the outdoors gunnysack.

Here are our rules for The Seattle Times contest.
