A 70-mile area of the Lower Columbia River will be open beginning this Monday, Sept. 10 for hatchery king fishing
This new one-week pilot king fishery will remain open through Sunday, Sept. 16 from the Rocky Point/Tongue Point line to Warrior Rock near the Lewis River mouth.
Daily limit is two adult hatchery salmon, two hatchery steelhead or one of each. Only one may be a hatchery adult chinook.
The area above Warrior Rock remains open for chinook retention, and anglers should check the regulation pamphlet for details.
