Here is the Reel Time Pacific Northwest fishing and outdoor trivia question of the week:
This lake north of Highway 2 in the middle of the state covers 500 acres, and has been a big draw for trout anglers for many, many years. It draws a lot of anglers for the spring April lowland lakes trout opener, and then closes in early July.
It then reopens to fishing in the fall when the big crowds are gone, but the action remains stellar for trout that have grown big since they were planted in the spring from all the feed in the lake. The lake has a long-standing resort, and while many will fish from small boats you can also get into the action from the ample shoreline.
Where am I fishing?
The person to answer this question first will win a nice outdoor related book or some fishing tackle.
Please email your answer to firstname.lastname@example.org. The winner will be announced on Friday, Sept. 21. Be sure to include an email plus phone number so we can ensure you’ll get your prize.
This will be an ongoing weekly trivia contest where the winner will receive a prize that will range from books, fishing gear and other cool items from the outdoors gunnysack.
