Updated Columbia River fall chinook and steelhead returns

The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) met today (Monday, Sept. 17) and updated Columbia River fall chinook and steelhead run sizes.

Fall Chinook returns to river mouth

Upriver Brights (URBs): 308,300 inseason update, and 353,000 preseason.

Bonneville Upriver Brights (BUBs): 23,000 inseason update, and 23,900 preseason.

Pool Upriver Brights (PUBs): 58,500 inseason update, and 66,100 preseason.

Bonneville Pool Hatchery (BPH): 63,500 inseason update, and 60,000 preseason.

Upriver Summer-Run Steelhead returns to Bonneville Dam

Group A steelhead: 185,000 inseason update, and 331,800 preseason.

Group A wild steelhead: 64,800 inseason update, and 91,800 preseason.

Group B steelhead: 20,000 inseason update, and 52,800 preseason.

Group B wild steelhead: 4,200 inseason update, and 13,400 preseason.
