Coho action picks up after a slight lull in many areas of Puget Sound

Someone turned the light switch on for coho in Puget Sound in the past two days.

“Coho fishing was pretty good this morning (Monday, Sept. 24), and I know some guys who came back with limits,” said Pete Sergeef, a state Fish and Wildlife fish checker.

Good spots for coho have been Possession Bar’s west side, Browns Bay, West Point south of Shilshole Bay, Duwamish waterway, Edmonds area, east side of Whidbey Island, Bush Point of Whidbey Island, and from the Shipwreck near Meadowdale north to Mukilteo.
