Updated Columbia River fall chinook, coho and steelhead returns

The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) updated fall chinook, coho, and steelhead run sizes:

Fall chinook at the Columbia River Mouth

Upriver Brights (URBs): 299,200 compared to 353,000 preseason.

Bonneville Upriver Brights(BUBs): 21,700 compared to 23,900 preseason.

Pool Upriver Brights (PUBs): 54,100 compared to 66,100 preseason.

Bonneville Pool Hatchery (BPH): 60,900 compared to 60,000 preaseason.

Upriver Summer Run Steelhead – Returns to Bonneville Dam

Group A: 190,00 compared to 331,800 preseason.

Group A wild: 66,500 compared to 91,800 preseason.

Group B: 21,000 compared to 52,800 preseason.

Group B wild: 4,200 compared to 13,400 preseason.

Coho at Bonneville Dam

Early is 41,200.

Late is 18,100.

Total is 59,300 (preseason 78,300).
