Razor clam diggers can start making plans to dig into coastal beaches beginning Saturday, Oct. 13.

Dates are:

Saturday, Oct. 13 (plus-0.3 feet at 5:41 p.m.) at Long Beach, Twin Harbors, Copalis and Mocrocks.

Sunday, Oct. 14, (-0.5 at 6:26 p.m.) at Long Beach, Twin Harbors, Copalis and Mocrocks.

Monday, Oct. 15 (-1.1 at 7:11 p.m.) at Long Beach and Twin Harbors.

Tuesday, Oct. 16 (-1.5 at 7:57 p.m.) and Wednesday, Oct. 17 (-1.6 at 8:44 p.m.) and Thursday, Oct. 18 (-1.4 at 9:34 p.m.) at Twin Harbors only.

Diggers must keep the first 15 clams dug, and each digger’s clams must be kept in a separate containers.

Digging is expected to be excellent this coming fall, winter and spring with many opportunities also on the horizon as clam abundance is very healthy.

More digs will be announced later this month.

Public comments are still being taken on the upcoming fall, winter and spring seasons through Oct. 9.
