Here is the Reel Time Pacific Northwest fishing and outdoor trivia question of the week:
This lake just off and visible from I-90 near Ellensburg is home to some giant rainbow trout that will range from 14 inches up to a whopping 10 pounds.
It is open year-round, and was planted this past spring with 6,500 catchable rainbows, 400 jumbos and 491 triploid trout. There is ample shoreline access and a nice L-shaped dock for anglers, and a boat launch on the west side of the lake.
This 25-acre lake also has bass, carp, pumpkinseed sunfish and suckerfish, and some seasons it also gets a plant of broodstock trout in the fall.
Where am I fishing?
The person to answer this question first will win a nice outdoor related book or some fishing tackle.
Please email your answer to email@example.com. The winner will be announced on Friday, Oct. 12. Be sure to include an email plus phone number so we can ensure you’ll get your prize.
This will be an ongoing weekly trivia contest where the winner will receive a prize that will range from books, fishing gear and other cool items from the outdoors gunnysack.
