Bigger than expected coho run boost catch limit in Skagit River

A larger than expected return of coho salmon to the Skagit River will allow the coho daily limit to increase to three from Oct. 10 through Dec. 31.

This new rule takes effect in the Skagit River from the mouth to the Cascade River Road at the Marblemount Bridge.

All other species rules remain the same. Anglers are required to release chum and chinook.
