Here is the Reel Time Pacific Northwest fishing and outdoor trivia question of the week:
Often time the excellent fall salmon fishery on the Humptulips River can be as busy as I-5 during the morning rush hour so this other not so nearby option can also have its grand moments for coho, chinook and winter steelhead.
This is a tributary and flows into the Queets River on the west side of the Olympic Peninsula, and the remoteness means don’t look for many amenities in this neck of the woods. It is located about 62 miles north of Hoquiam and a road with the same name parallels the river for about 12 miles.
Where am I fishing?
The person to answer this question first will win a nice outdoor related book or some fishing tackle.
Please email your answer to email@example.com. The winner will be announced on Friday, Oct. 26. Be sure to include an email plus phone number so we can ensure you’ll get your prize.
This will be an ongoing weekly trivia contest where the winner will receive a prize that will range from books, fishing gear and other cool items from the outdoors gunnysack.
