It’s Reel Time trivia so put on your fishing thinking cap

Here is the Reel Time Pacific Northwest fishing and outdoor trivia question of the week:

There are a few statewide lakes named after this rather nocturnal semiaquatic animal that is known to build dams out of wood.

The one I’m looking for is open year-round to fishing and lies on the eastern area of King County, and in the late fall it gets an annual trout plant that creates a last chance frenzy for anglers before the long winter sets in. It also gets a nice plant of about 10,000 catchable-sized trout in the spring, but the half pounders it gets in fall from a nearby hatchery draws the most attention.

The east side of the lake has a public access with a small boat ramp and limited parking. The shoreline in the park at the swim area is about the only public access for bank anglers as the rest is filled with homes and private property.

Where am I fishing?

The person to answer this question first will win a nice outdoor related book or some fishing tackle.

Please email your answer to myuasa@seattletimes.com. The winner will be announced on Friday, Nov. 2. Be sure to include an email plus phone number so we can ensure you’ll get your prize.

This will be an ongoing weekly trivia contest where the winner will receive a prize that will range from books, fishing gear and other cool items from the outdoors gunnysack.

Here are our rules for The Seattle Times contest.
