Latest fall fish transportation figures for Cowlitz River

Here are the 2012 upstream transportation totals of fall chinook and coho for the Cowlitz River:

FALL ADULT CHINOOK

For the season: 6,977 fall chinook have returned; 812 hatchery and 1,904 wild have been transported to the Tilton River; 645 hatchery have been transported to Lake Scanewa; 2,283 hatchery have been transported to Cowlitz at Packwood; and 398 hatchery have been transported to Cispus River.

For the week of Nov. 10: 71 fall chinook have returned; 12 hatchery and 26 wild have been transported to the Tilton River; none have been transported to Lake Scanewa; 31 hatchery have been transported to Cowlitz at Packwood; and none have been transported to Cispus River.

ADULT COHO

For the season: 11,197 coho have returned; 3,706 hatchery and 944 wild have been transported to the Tilton River; 556 hatchery and 1,055 wild have been transported to Lake Scanewa; 216 hatchery and 15 wild have been transported to Cowlitz at Packwood; and 606 hatchery and 252 wild have been transported to Cispus River.

For the week of Nov. 10: 830 fall coho have returned; 342 hatchery and 87 wild have been transported to the Tilton River; 133 hatchery and 54 wild have been transported to Lake Scanewa; 23 hatchery have been transported to Cowlitz at Packwood; and 55 hatchery and 28 wild have been transported to Cispus River.
