Latest fall fish transportation figures for Cowlitz River

Here are the 2012 upstream transportation totals of fall chinook and coho for the Cowlitz River:

FALL ADULT CHINOOK

For the season: 6,989 fall chinook have returned; 813 hatchery and 1,914 wild have been transported to the Tilton River; 645 hatchery have been transported to Lake Scanewa; 2,284 hatchery have been transported to Cowlitz at Packwood; and 398 hatchery have been transported to Cispus River.

For the week of Dec. 1: Three fall chinook have returned; one hatchery and three wild have been transported to the Tilton River; none have been transported to Lake Scanewa; one hatchery have been transported to Cowlitz at Packwood; and none have been transported to Cispus River.

ADULT COHO

For the season: 13,300 coho have returned; 4,111 hatchery and 1,017 wild have been transported to the Tilton River; 653 hatchery and 1,129 wild have been transported to Lake Scanewa; 404 hatchery and 96 wild have been transported to Cowlitz at Packwood; and 606 hatchery and 252 wild have been transported to Cispus River.

For the week of Dec. 1: 421 fall coho have returned; 130 hatchery and 43 wild have been transported to the Tilton River; 37 hatchery and 25 wild have been transported to Lake Scanewa; 62 hatchery and 41 wild have been transported to Cowlitz at Packwood; and none have been transported to Cispus River.
