There is still time to get in on what has been a very good waterfowl hunting season around the state.
The season comes to an end on Jan. 27, and the storm weather has kept activity around the water holes very active although bluebird days lie ahead and could slow it down.
Here is a report from Mike Meseberg, owner of MarDon Resort in the Potholes Reservoir of Eastern Washington:
“As of Jan. 10, we have had many reports of great waterfowl hunting on Potholes Reservoir,” Meseberg said. “The last couple weeks have been very challenging hunting so now with improved conditions, it might be your last chance to get out on the water this season.”
“We had a high wind yesterday with a warming temperatures up to 50 degrees in some places, which could mean an amazing weekend of hunting for our area,” he said.
We have many available dates open for the season, come check it out before the lake freezes over. For more information please visit the Duck Taxi wesbite.
