Rivers and lakes

Quillayute/Bogachiel River — Jan. 7-10: No fishing effort due to high water flows.

Sol Duc River — Jan. 7-10: No fishing effort due to high water flows.

Lower Hoh River — Jan. 7-10: One bank angler caught no fish. Not much effort due to high water flows.

Upper Hoh River — Jan. 7-10: No fishing effort due to high water flows.

Cowlitz River — Jan. 7-13: Four bank anglers and one boat angler at Blue Creek caught no fish.

Washougal River — Jan. 7-13: 25 boat anglers caught seven steelhead and released 16; 45 bank anglers caught one steelhead and released two.

Columbia River in Bonneville Pool — Jan. 7-13: 52 bank anglers released 11 sturgeon; 28 boats with 74 anglers caught 10 sturgeon and released 356.

Columbia River in The Dalles Pool — Jan. 7-13: 25 bank anglers caught one sturgeon and released two; eight boats with 16 anglers released 11 sturgeon; eight bank anglers released two steelhead; one boat with three anglers caught no fish; one bank angler caught no walleye; two boats with four anglers caught two walleye.

Columbia River in John Day Pool — Jan. 7-13: 55 bank anglers released five sturgeon; 18 boats with 46 anglers caught one sturgeon and released 12; six bank anglers caught no steelhead; four boats with seven anglers caught three walleye.
