Recent trout plants for Southwest Washington lakes and ponds

Here are the latest trout plants for South Washington, but Joe Hymer, a state Fish and Wildlife biologist reports that some lakes in the Gorge area are likely iced over from the recent freezing temperatures.

Fort Borst Pond near Centralia (open for juvenile anglers only) received 1,380 catchable-sized rainbows.

Klineline Pond got 1,840 catchable-sized trout, 1,500 half-pound trout, 72 five-pound trout and 28 ten-pound rainbow trout.

Battle Ground Lake was planted with 1,840 catchable-sized trout, 1,500 half-pound trout, 78 five-pound trout and 22 ten-pound rainbow trout.

Kidney Lake near North Bonneville received 1,000 half-pound and 58 ten-pound rainbow trout.

Ice House Lake near Bridge of the Gods got 751 catchable-sized trout, 28 five-pound trout and 17 10-pound rainbow trout.

Little Ash Lake near Stevenson received 920 catchable-sized rainbow trout.

Rowland Lake near Lyle got 28 five-pound and 64 ten-pound rainbow trout.
