Short film classic The Way of Trout airs April 19 in Everett
A free showing of the 1969 16mm film “The Way of Trout” the first film with a “catch and release” focus, and an “Introduction to the Trout Stream Exhibit” is 7 p.m. Friday, April 19 at the Northwest Stream Center in Snohomish County’s Mc Collum Park, 600 128th Street S.E. in Everett.
Space is limited so advance registration is required by calling 425-316-8592. Prior to viewing the film, visitors can enjoy amazing underwater scenes of the life cycle of salmon produced by Japan’s Hokkaido Television and Broadcasting.
The Way of Trout 30-minute film takes viewers underwater to witness various stages of growth of a female rainbow trout, and was produced for Trout Unlimited.
After the film, visitors can take a short tour of the NW Stream Center’s Trout Stream Exhibit – the newest trout stream in the state.
