Camping seminars at Tulalip Cabela’s store this weekend

While many will have fishing plastered on the front of the priority list, others will also be making plans to combine that along with a camping trip heading into the Memorial Day weekend and well beyond into summer.

To help make this a fun, family event the Tulalip Cabela’s, 9810 Quil Ceda Blvd., is hosting a Let’s Go Camping Weekend on May 4-5.

The two daylong event will offer seminars, product experts and demonstrations, conservation partners and samples.

Specific classes and seminars include: The In’s and Out’s of Water Purification; Navigation for Hikers; Basic Outdoor Survival and Safety — presented by Snohomish County Search and Rescue; Camp Food Made Easy; Trail Riding Etiquette; Tent Camping in Luxury; and Backyard Camping and much more.

Customers can also see the Snohomish County Search and Rescue and K-9 unit, try your shooting luck at the new Daisy Shooting Range, get fitted for a new backpack, participate in a fun geocache and make your own S ’mores.
