To help make this a fun, family event the Tulalip Cabela’s, 9810 Quil Ceda Blvd., is hosting a Let’s Go Camping Weekend on May 4-5.
The two daylong event will offer seminars, product experts and demonstrations, conservation partners and samples.
Specific classes and seminars include: The In’s and Out’s of Water Purification; Navigation for Hikers; Basic Outdoor Survival and Safety — presented by Snohomish County Search and Rescue; Camp Food Made Easy; Trail Riding Etiquette; Tent Camping in Luxury; and Backyard Camping and much more.
Customers can also see the Snohomish County Search and Rescue and K-9 unit, try your shooting luck at the new Daisy Shooting Range, get fitted for a new backpack, participate in a fun geocache and make your own S ’mores.
