The Lower Columbia Buoy-10 Salmon Challenge hosted by the Northwest Sportfishing Industry Association is Aug. 15-16 at Camp Rilea in Warrenton, Oregon.
Cost is $100 per person. Biggest fish is worth $1,000 and second place is $500.
The tournament fishery will be limited to areas between Buoy 10 and the upper end of Rice Island. Ocean fishing is off-limits.
Tournament participants will receive a t-shirt, dinner, and team and individual prizes.
Weigh in is between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. with an awards banquet to follow with silent auction and raffle drawings. Discounts on lodging are available until July 15.
