Eastern Washington University Fishing Team captures second place at college fishing tournament

untitledThe Eastern Washington University Sportsman’s Club Fishing Team took second place last weekend at the FLW Outdoors College Fishing Tournament on the California River Delta.

The two-man team was Nick Barr of Lacey and Jarred Walker of Moses Lake who earned $1,000 for their EWU Club.

It is the third top-ten finish of the year, and the team is currently ranked second in the nation according to BassRankings.com.

The EWU Club will participate this August in the B.A.S.S. College National Championship on Lake Chatuge in Georgia; and in October at the FLW Outdoors College Fishing Regional Championship on Clear Lake in California.
