The northern coastal halibut season off La Push and Neah Bay was so good that there will be no extra days of fishing.
In both areas, anglers caught 107,856 pounds through May 18, which is just 174 pounds under the total catch sport quota.
The only ocean area still open for halibut is the southern coast off Ilwaco. Fishing is allowed Fridays to Sundays only.
The western Strait of Juan de Fuca off Sekiu remains open Thursday to Saturday (May 30 to June 1) and June 8. The eastern Strait, San Juan Islands, eastern Whidbey Island, northern Puget Sound and central Puget Sound are open Thursday and Friday (May 30-31) only.
