Lower Columbia River – June 3-9: 1,138 bank anglers caught 53 chinook and 27 steelhead, and released 42 chinook, two steelhead and four sockeye; 288 boats with 638 anglers caught 51 chinook and 18 steelhead, and released 41 chinook, three steelhead and one sockeye; eight bank anglers caught no sturgeon; 68 boats with 177 anglers caught 42 sturgeon and released 253; 1,010 bank anglers caught 10,101 shad and released 77; 48 boats with 108 anglers caught 813 shad and released 190.
Columbia River in The Dalles Pool – June 3-9: 38 bank anglers caught two sturgeon and released 25; two boats with five anglers released 35 sturgeon; 10 bank anglers caught one chinook and released one; one boat with two anglers caught no salmon; six boats with 13 anglers caught four walleye and released nine; four bank anglers released two bass; six boats with 11 anglers caught 69 bass and released 11.
Columbia River in John Day Pool – June 3-9: Three bank anglers caught no sturgeon; seven boats with 14 anglers released 17 sturgeon; 34 boats with 69 anglers caught 51 walleye and released seven; nine bank anglers caught six bass and released nine; 10 boats with 16 anglers caught 14 bass and released 158.
