Lower Columbia River sees big turnout, and fairly good chinook and steelhead bite

Here is the latest catch figures for this past week by state Fish and Wildlife:

During June 16-23, anglers on the Lower Columbia made 14,182 angler trips and caught 1,899 adult Chinook (1,159 kept and 740 released), 212 sockeye (203 kept and nine released), and 606 summer steelhead (486 kept and 120 released).
