Here are the latest salmon catches from the Buoy-10 fishery at the Lower Columbia River:
Aug. 1, 11 boats with anglers caught four Chinook.
Aug. 2, 20 boats with 43 anglers caught six Chinook and four hatchery coho.
Aug. 3, 21 boats with 49 anglers caught five Chinook and five hatchery coho.
Aug. 4, 52 boats with 155 anglers caught 15 Chinook and 13 hatchery coho.
The state Fish and Wildlife preseason catch expectations for Buoy-10 are: 20,000 chinook and 13,100 hatchery coho.
Fishing from Aug. 1-Sept. 1 has a daily limit of two salmon or hatchery steelhead or one of each. Only one may be a chinook. Release all salmon except chinook and hatchery coho. Minimum size limit is 24 inches for chinook and 16 inches for hatchery coho.
Fishing from Sept. 2-30 has a daily limit of two hatchery coho or hatchery steelhead or one of each. Release all salmon other than hatchery coho. Minimum size is 16 inches for hatchery coho.
