Southwest Washington rivers and lakes

Klickitat River – July 27-Aug. 1: 25 bank anglers caught two chinook and released one; 32 boat anglers caught six steelhead  and released eight.

Cowlitz River – July 27-Aug. 1: Nine bank anglers at barrier dam caught 14 jack chinook and one steelhead; 41 boat anglers near trout hatchery caught 18 steelhead.

Drano Lake – July 27-Aug. 1: 185 boat anglers caught two chinook and 56 steelhead, and released 110 steelhead.

Lower Columbia River – Aug. 1-4:  1,060 bank anglers caught 10 chinook and 172 steelhead, and released two chinook and 232 steelhead; 210 boats with 468 anglers caught 16 chinook and 105 steelhead, and released three chinook and 147 steelhead; four boats with seven anglers caught no walleye.

Columbia River in The Dalles Pool – July 29-Aug. 4: 25 bank anglers caught five sturgeon; five boats with 14 anglers caught two sturgeon and released 56; 20 bank anglers released two chinook; 11 boat anglers caught one chinook and released four; two bank anglers caught no walleye; eight boats with 20 anglers caught 19 walleye; three boats with six anglers released 73 bass.
