The Dalles Pool of Columbia River to close soon for sturgeon catch and keep fishing

Sturgeon catch and keep fishing in The Dalles Pool of the Columbia River and tributaries from The Dalles Dam up to John Day Dam from Nov. 12 through Dec. 31. Anglers will still be able to catch and release sturgeon.

State Fish and Wildlife says the sport catch guideline of 300 sturgeon is predicted to be achieved by that time.
