Frank Wilson Memorial Blackmouth Derby winning fish weighed 21.33 pounds

The 10-week long Frank Wilson Memorial Blackmouth Derby in the San Juan Islands ended Sunday (April 13th), and Brenda Schmidt took home the $1,000 first place prize with a 21.33-pound hatchery chinook.

Final results: 1, Brenda Schmidt, 21.33, $1,000; 2, Chuck Payne, 20.87, $500; 3, Don Wilson, 16.33, $250; 4, Carol Holman, 16.11, $250 (also the women’s winner); 5, Bob Wilson, 15.79; 6, Kevin Klein, 15.78; 7, Erol Turanciol, 15.20; 8, Justin Nibler, 14.66; 9, Vicki Telford, 12.59; 10, Joe Crisanti, 11.92.

Mystery fish winner was Brock Warin, $250. Kids division winner was Cameron Wilson, 8.18.
