A portion of Rufus Woods Lake that has been off-limits to anglers has reopened to fishing until further notice.

The area from the Grand Coulee Dam downstream to the State Route 155 Bridge had been closed following the events of Sept. 11, 2001 for security purposes.

Public access was recently opened and now has been followed by sport fishing.
