Join state Fish and Wildlife experts for live chat Thursday on opening day of trout fishing

The statewide opening day of the lowland lakes trout fishing season – one of the biggest fishing events in Washington – is coming up soon.

Want to know where the trout are biting for the statewide season that begins on April 26-27?

How about tips on how to catch them? Or which lakes are getting the bonus jumbo-sized trout to boost anglers chances of catching the “big one?”

State Fish and Wildlife Inland Fish Program Manager, Chris Donley, and Puget Sound regional biologists Justin Spinelli and Danny Garrett answered questions about opening day on April 24.
