Many lakes around the state planted this past week with trout

More statewide lakes were planted with trout this past week to keep the spring good times rolling for anglers.

In King County, Beaver was planted with 4,688 trout on May 6-7; Echo, 1,213 on May 6; Green, 4,002 on May 5; Alice, 2,059 on May 5; Desire, 7,373 on May 6; Meridian, 3,000 on May 6; Mill Pond, 1000 on May 2; Pine, 1,032 on May 7; Shadow, 5,000 on May 5; Spring, 7,000 on May 5.

In Snohomish County: Ballinger, 2,036 trout on May 5; and Flowing, 3,089 on May 5. In Grays Harbor County: Duck, 2,200 on May 7.

In Island County: Cranberry, 4,232 on May 5. In Pierce County: Bradley, 1,000 on May 2; Crescent, 1,700 on May 5; and Kapowsin, 10,000 on May 5. In Thurston County: Lawrence, 3,819 on May 7.

In Grant County: Caliche, 150 on May 5; Heart, 163 on May 5; Martha, 150 on May 5; and Windmill, 200 on May 5.

In Spokane County: Clear, 6,290 on May 2. In Yakima County: Clear, 2,950 on May 6; and Zillah Winery Pond, 500 on May 7. In Benton County: Columbia Park Pond, 6,095 on May 7. In Lewis County: Fort Borst Park, 2,008 on May 5. In Clallam County: Wentworth, 6,500 on May 6.
