Latest west side trout plants should boost fishing action in some lakes

Here are the state Fish and Wildlife rainbow trout plants that occurred on June 11-13:

King County: Green Lake got 1,50 trout averaging 1.5 pounds.

Pierce County: American Lake got 20,000 trout; Rapjohn Lake for 1,200 trout.

Snohomish County: Blackman’s Lake got 370 trout averaging 1.5 pounds; Gissburg Ponds got 370 trout averaging 1.5 pounds.

Cowlitz County: Horseshoe Lake got 250 trout averaging 1.5 pounds.

Kitsap County: Island Lake got  1,395 trout.

Skagit County: Campbell Lake got 250 trout averaging 1.5 pounds.

Whatcom County: Padden Lake got 250 trout averaging 1.5 pounds.
