Latest Strait of Juan de Fuca sockeye gill net test fishery catch figures

Here are the latest catches in the Area 20 San Juan sockeye test gill net fishery in the Strait of Juan de Fuca:

July 1, 131 sockeye caught with two boats and four net sets; July 2, 164; July 3, 298; July 4, 24; July 5, 206; July 6, 235; July 7, 128; July 8, 248; July 9, 503; July 10, 260.

July 11, 243; July 12, 126; July 13, 108; July 14, 39; July 15, 54; July 16, 20; July 17, 198; July 18, 614; July 19, 284.

July 20, 352; July 21, 61; July 22, 158; July 23, 67; July 24, 38; July 25, 56; July 26, 37; and July 27, 97.

Season total from June 21 through July 27 is 4,920 sockeye caught with 67 vessels and 134 net sets on 10,453.35 effort hours.
