Luhr’s Landing boat launch in South Sound closed Aug. 4-8

The Luhr’s Landing water-access site near Olympia west of the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge in southern Puget Sound will be closed Aug. 4-8 for repairs at the entrance to the boat ramp facility.

Work crews from Thurston County Public Works will be replacing a failed culvert at the intersection near the launch entrance, which is owned and operated by stte Fish and Wildlife.

Launching might also be restricted the week of Aug. 11, at the culvert on the intersection of D’Milluhr Drive and Scenic Drive.
