Rock Creek winter hatchery steelhead fishery begins next month

The hatchery steelhead fishery at Rock Creek from the mouth up to the fall in Skamania County will reopen Nov. 1 until further notice.

The creek located in the town of Stevenson was planted in the spring of 2013 with 20,000 hatchery steelhead smolts, and are expected to return this winter.

Daily limit is two hatchery steelhead. A Columbia River Salmon/Steelhead Endorsement and barbless hooks required.
