Records shattered at Lower Columbia River Buoy-10 salmon fishery

Total salmonid angler trips

451,000 (New record since at least 1982. Previous record 433,000 in 2001).

Fish kept: 

71,000 spring/summer/fall Chinook (new record since at least 1982.  Previous record was 63,000 fish set just last year)

16,000 winter/summer steelhead

63,000 coho

Chinook kept per angler trip:

Buoy 10 fall Chinook –0.40 ( New record since at least 1982.  Previous record 0.34 in 2013)

Lower Columbia mainstem from Rocky Point/Tongue Point line upstream to Bonneville Dam:

Spring – 0.15

Summer – 0.09

Fall – 0.2304 (2nd highest since at least 1980.  Record is 0.2311 in 2003).
