Fly angler Skip Morris will host a fly-fishing seminar 10 am.-3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 31 at the Bay Club, 120 Spinnaker Place in Port Ludlow.
Cost is $30 ($15 for 17-and-under) in advance or $35 a person ($20) at the door, and includes lunch.
Morris, a resident of the Olympic Peninsula, has written 17 books on fly fishing and fly tying over the past 25 years.
The seminar benefits the management and maintenance of Teal Lake in Port Ludlow, and is hosted by the Port Ludlow Fly Fishers Club.
Fishing the Surface of a Trout Lake presentation covers techniques, tackle, and flies to catch trout that feed in the top layer of a lake.
Fishing the Depths of a Trout Lake presentation covers fishing with sinking lines and with floating lines using weighted flies on very long leaders.
Fly Fishing for Bass & Panfish presentation for largemouth bass, smallmouth bass and panfish.
Tying Flies for Trout Lakes presentation will discuss the most effective flies to use to catch fish.
